How to Print a Calendar on One Page (Letter vs A4)

The surest way is to download the PDF and print that. If you print straight from the browser, two settings solve most problems: paper size and scale.

Updated October 9, 2026 · Onesheet

Printing from this site

When you press Print, the paper size (Letter or A4) and orientation you picked are passed to the print dialog. Some browsers still ask you to choose the paper size there. Only the calendar sheet is printed. The page header, menus and ads are left out.

What to check when it does not fit (Chrome)

In Chrome’s print dialog, open “More settings”. Other browsers use slightly different names for the same things.

Letter and A4 are not the same shape

Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches (215.9 × 279.4 mm). A4 is 210 × 297 mm. A4 is 5.9 mm narrower and 17.6 mm longer. A calendar laid out for A4 will not fit the long side of Letter paper at full size, and a Letter layout leaves a band of empty paper on A4. Make the file in the size of the paper you have. You can switch under “Change settings”.

If the edges are clipped

Everything on this calendar sits more than 11 mm from the top and side edges and more than 6 mm from the bottom edge. If the edges still get clipped, your printer needs wider margins than that. Choose the option in the print dialog that fits the page to the paper and the whole sheet shrinks slightly to fit.

Saving ink

Turn on “Black only” under “Change settings”. Holidays are then shown with bold, underlined numbers instead of color.
